Fish Camp County Park is located on the northwest shore of Lake Kegonsa. In response to the growing population of non-native common carp, the state opened fish camps to harvest and sell the fish. One camp in McFarland ran from 1932 to 1969.

I appreciate the rustic nature of the photos, especially the one showing the single window; the historical background is a plus. (Unfortunately we also have non-native carp in Maine.)
