“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.” –  Fred Rogers

Quinn and Logan must be working hard. Their front yard is home port to a fleet of trikes, trucks, and heavy equipment. The flagship is a venerable orange and yellow Cozy Coupe® Car, the sight of which brings back fond memories of our own plastic vehicle flotilla.

The first Cozy rolled off the Little Tikes assembly line in 1979, weighing 19lbs., 12oz and measuring 32.23” tall. The iconic foot-powered commuter was redesigned in 1999, replacing the slimmer black roof poles with thick yellow pillars. The Cozy got another facelift in 2009, with cartoon eyes and smile, plus “cup holders for parents and children.”

By the looks of it, Quinn and Logan have themselves a pre-1999 model. No cupholders. No cartoon face. Old school. #RespectTheCozy

I wonder if the boys know they are driving a classic collector’s item?
