Nate is always on the move. He’s the kind of kid whose motor has two speeds–off and fast.

So it was no surprise when I spotted him and his dad, Tim, cheerfully shoveling compost into a shiny red wheelbarrow.  It’s not that any spot in the garden needed compost at this time. It’s more like Nate needed something to do, and Tim needed him to do something. In any case, they both seemed satisfied with the experience.

In fact, Nate was downright exuberant about the opportunity to shovel smelly stuff into a wheelbarrow spread it all around. Maybe this kid has a future in public relations. Anybody looking for an intern?
