Established in 1979, the Shalom Wildlife Zoo in West Bend started as a deer farm. In 2010, Shalom was licensed as a zoo and is now home to more than 400 animals on 100 acres. I visited for the first time yesterday as part of a workshop sponsored by The Camera Company and Tamron.
