I previously posted photos from our March visit to Zion National Park in Utah. On that same trip, we spent three days at the Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab. As the nation’s largest animal sanctuary, this impressive organization cares for more than 1,500 animals on any given day. People come from all over the world to volunteer there, which is exactly what we did during Amanda’s spring break.

Just in time for Fathers Day, the organization published a blog post about our visit, featuring a few of my photos.

Three of the photos (published here and on the bestfriends.org site) feature Yvonne, a loveable pitbull who served as our “sleepover buddy” during our stay at Best Friends.
