Last month, I posted two photos of this seemingly solitary tree, standing in contrast to the blue sky.

Today, I revisited the site. With the crops now harvested, I was able to get closer, and I discovered that the tree is not alone after all. In addition to a smaller tree growing in its shadow, there is also a bird house perched on a fence post. I did not spot any occupants, but it looks like a nice, quiet neighborhood.
