Union South is a popular spot for special events, casual dining, business meetings, bowling, and studying. It’s also the home of Lily’s Luau.
That means that 600+ people wearing coconut bras, grass skirts, and Sorel boots, will descend on the facility in about 26 hours. Before that happens, a few of us will come to appreciate parts of the facility that most people never see. Like the spacious underground loading dock, and the large freight elevators.
Of course, the most important feature is the people — the wonderfully hospitable Union South staff who will prepare our tropical feast, pour our cold beverages, and bend over backwards to make everyone comfortable and happy.
Tomorrow, while you’re agonizing over which gaudy Hawaiian shirt and decorative sunglasses to wear, Union South will be teeming with hardworking staff and Lily’s Fund volunteers, all busily preparing for your arrival.
Union South is ready to hula. Are you?
