Today’s #project365 installment marks two firsts. This was the first time I’ve ever been asked to photograph a band.

And I believe it’s the first time The Mersey Brothers and Sean Michael Dargan have been asked to stand in the middle of a busy thoroughfare for a publicity shot.

I have no doubt that these fellas have been told to “go play in traffic” before. But this time they listened. Important distinction.

So, if you were driving down Midvale Boulevard this evening, and narrowly missed running over a middle-aged musician (or a slow-moving photographer), now you know why. And knowing is half the battle.
