On air, Clint is as cool as they come. In person, he is affable and authentic. Clint makes sure that we have enough public and private support to maintain a high-quality statewide public broadcasting network. Several times a year, I join him in the studios for pledge breaks — you know, the ones where we tempt you with PBS coffee mugs and tote bags?

We have a lot of fun in the studios, especially when the phones light up with a strong viewer response. Thankfully, that’s a common occurrence.
