Seems like just yesterday when Ben was eagerly making ice for skating.

Tonight, the ice is gone, major league pitchers and catchers have reported to training camp, and Ben is playing catch under the street light with his dad, Wally and brother, JP.

Dave: “Is it time for spring training already?”

Wally:  “Yes! You see, we have a unique philosophy about sports in my family. We see it as a way of making the house bigger, by ensuring that at least one boy is not in it at all times. No better how many sports you play, it’s still a lot cheaper than a new house!”

Let this be the first true sign of springtime.
